Parallel POS ("we", "us") provides point-of-sale and business-management software. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Account details (name, email, company, username), billing information processed by our payment provider (Stripe), and product usage data needed to operate the service.
To create and manage your account, process payments, provide support, improve the product, and send service-related communications.
Card payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. See Stripe's privacy policy for details on their processing.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who help us operate (e.g., hosting, payments) under appropriate agreements, or where required by law.
We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, and we use industry-standard safeguards to protect it.
ParallelPOS can connect to third-party platforms you choose — such as Google (YouTube, Google Business Profile), LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, X, Mailchimp and WordPress — so that content you create in ParallelPOS can be published to accounts you control. When you connect an account we receive an access token from that platform, which we store encrypted and use only to perform the actions you request (for example, publishing a post or uploading a video you created). We do not read your private messages, contacts or feeds on those platforms, and we access only the data needed to complete the action you asked for.
You can disconnect any connected account at any time from within ParallelPOS, which deletes the stored token; you can also revoke our access from the platform's own security settings (for Google, at myaccount.google.com/permissions).
Google API Services. ParallelPOS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the publishing features you request, is never sold, is never used for advertising, and is never transferred except as necessary to provide those features, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with prior notice to you. No human reads this data except with your consent, for security purposes, or to comply with law.
